Port-Camargue,
situated south of Grau-du-Roi is the main marina of the meditarrenean
basin. The resort constitutes an ideal compromise between the small
port of Grau-du Roi and the untamed parts which extend from Espiguette
to Sainte-Marie-de-la-Mer. Port-Camargue benefits from a contemporary
urbanism on the level of the Grand-Motte.
Her original conception perfectly adapts to a marine environment.
It consits of a set of settlements grouped around a winter harbour.
Two types of settlements, group or individual. Marine houses, built
in the middle of the water, looking like individual villas ,each
with private berths. Behind them are gardens which over look the
roads . Admirably well adapted to this area , they constitute the
"must haves" of leisure today : a car, a house and a boat.
