The
historic center of Ganges is quite
special like all cévenole towns of the Middle-ages.
One can find arched cross-roads , narrow alleys , courts and suspended
gardens.
There are also :
Fountains
: walking through the labyrinth-like alleys , one can find
these fountains which served the town during the 18th century.
Masonry : there are the 18th century houses , hotel de
Maisonneuve , 15th century houses situated in the Grand' rue
; the portal of Laroque , the street Saint-Viel and the old
silk hosieries of the 18th century. It is worth taking a look
also at the rue tras la Muraille.
